Brilliant fly in rivers and lakes. We catch a lot of fish using this fly just drifting lake shallows with the fly up off the bottom and an indicator on the nylon to signal a take. Just deadly.
Also on larger rivers especially if they have a silty bottom like parts of the Mohaka.
